Every year, on the last Saturday of April at 10am, people come together in towns and cities around the world, and through the practise of tai chi and qigong, generate a global wave of cooperation and healing energy around our planet. Tai Chi is becoming recognised as the world's most beneficial health system. People of all ages, size and shape and fitness levels are eager to learn more about this life enhancing practice. Relax, rejuvenate and enjoy peaceful tranquillity as you exercise your body and mind.

Newcastle - World Tai Chi Day Details: 

8:30 a.m. "Sunrise" Tai Chi at Redhead Beach (approx. 45 minutes)

 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.  Tai Chi in the park at Pelican Foreshore (Lakeview Parade, Pelican) including morning tea

 12:30 p.m. Lunch at Pelican RSL (Piriwal Street, Pelican)

New Zealand - World Tai Chi Day Details: 

Venue: Waihi Memorial Hall - 71 Seddon Street Waihi 

Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm

Halls open at 9:30am - warm up exercises

Session: begins at 10:00am - NZ Tai Chi Forms

To Bring - finger food for shared lunch (11:45am)
